Translation costs and process –
How to order your translation
To make ordering a translation quick and easy for you, we keep our process short and simple:
1. Submit your documents
Send us your files digitally as a scan or photo using our contact form or by email. Alternatively, you can come to our office, and we will make copies of your documents.
2. Receive your individual quote for the translation fee
We review your documents and prepare a non-binding quote with the exact translation costs and turnaround time. You can review everything before confirming and paying the required translation fees.
3. Translation by sworn, professional translators
After you confirm the order and pay the translation fees, our sworn translators take over. They prepare a certified or official translation that is completely accurate and legally valid.
4. Receive your finished translation
Once the translation is completed, we notify you by email. You can collect the translation from our office in Chemnitz, or we will post it to you. For urgent requests, we are happy to provide a digital version of your certified translation in advance.
Customized Prices
How are the translation fees calculated?
The prices for our translation services are not fixed in advance. Instead, they depend on several factors, including:
- Language combination: Translations from common languages such as English or French are usually less expensive than rare languages.
- Document length: Translation service prices are usually based on standard lines, words or pages.
- Subject area: Legal, medical or technical texts require special expertise.
- Certification: Certified translation costs include an extra fee in addition to the standard translation price.
- Delivery deadline: An express service may involve extra costs.
Translation costs – Transparent prices for your documents
Many clients ask specifically about the translation price for certified documents.
However, as every document is unique, it is difficult to provide a specific amount for the translation fees. Short certificates such as a birth certificate typically cost between €30 and €60, while longer documents such as diplomas, contracts or court papers are more expensive due to the additional length.
The translation cost per page therefore varies depending on the language combination, subject area and urgency. We will be happy to prepare a transparent, non-binding quote for you – it will give you detailed information about the translation service price.

Frequently asked questions about translation costs and the process
What is the price for a translation without certification?
It depends on the length, language, and type of document. Short certificates are usually less expensive, while longer contracts or diplomas cost more.
How much does a certified translation cost?
A certified translation costs slightly more due to the certifying statement. Translation prices usually start at around €30.
Are there fixed translation costs per page?
The translation cost per page depends on the actual text volume. A page with just a few lines costs less than a page full of text. We calculate the price for translations transparently and fairly.

On average, a translation takes one to two weeks. The time may vary depending on demand for specific language pairs. An express turnaround is available on request.
